At Napier, he always looked as if he was in urgent need of an A grade massage therapist - like he was going to seize up any second. After each over he'd slope and limp off to his place in the field with a look of severe pain on his face.
Anyway, well done to the Windies. A great win, I suspect. Its incredible how well Gayle is playing with the responsibility of Captaincy. When he was appointed, there was a lot of chat as to whether he was the right appointee but if you can find a decent captain who retains, or even improves their form with the bat, you've got to hold onto them.

What a victory, I thought it was a joke that England were all out for 51 until I saw the scorecard. Incredible, must be good for WIndies fans to see that Sarwan is back in form too.
We don't and can't enforce all the avatar bets that go on throughout the forum. It just needs to be a gentleman's agreement between the two members involved.

being scarcastic about the whole poetry in motion thing, the guy is ridicuously ungainly... anyhoo, hopefully he can learn to bowl when conditions arn't as helpful ay they were in this case, against NZ when it wasn't turning he was just ineffective and a waste of time.

The fact, most don't follow WI cricket, they see the rankings and believe its just an easy walk over. Gayle always say he can count on his bowlers.
NZ fans knows what fidel can do, taylor proved what he is capable of today, and powell was on a hat trick twice in the ODIs vs NZ. These bowlers are extreme strike bowlers, only powell doesn't show up as often as he should and has his problems.

Haha yeah I saw the score on my cellphone and thought it was a typo. Had to come online to make sure. As tempting as it is I won't kick England while they're down but am ecstatic for the West Indies and hope this is a turning point for them.
As for Jerome, I've been a fan of this kid since I saw him bowl in Pakistan in '06 and seems he's fulfilling his potential. Can't wait for the highlights on YT.

suppose your correct on this matter, and btw it's not only Powell who doesn't strike often enough, and Edwards needs an in-between, i.e. instead of being crap or awsome he needs to be consistent when things arn't happening for him, thought he had developed this to an extent in NZ but consistency is still slightly lacking... still very happy with the West Indians...
