Good heavens! What is going on with England?

Was it great bowling from the WI (Taylor and Benn in particular) or just awful batting from the English?
Good bowling, but 51ao tells its own story. This was way more culpable than 46ao in 1994, and you have to hope the Barmy Army will give the lazy bastards hell.

Well done WI, comprehensive thrashing! Dont think anyone would have picked a win to WI, let alone by an innings.

Im not home and can't view the game. I can't wait to watch the highlights tonight. I want to watch from start to finish. Happy to see taylor taking the wickets we all knew he could from times. Good start to the series. Tony G show should be very interesting aswell

Thanks, as I said, I am a little stunned. Sat down this morning, jumped on cricinfo, and could not believe my eyes.

And yeah, as you say, the 94 WI attack had some great names. This WI attack, tbh, looked pretty ordinary in NZ this summer.

Still well done, and well played. Fantastic for the game to see the WI playing hard and good cricket. Perhaps finally a whole becoming better than its parts.

Yeah, there's a very small part of me that's pleased to see WI performing for the first time in years, but obv that's massively overshadowed by my complete contempt for English cricket. As Pasag said, if it leads to some hard decisions being made, then maybe some good will come out of this. Interestingly, the kid who was being slaughtered on CW for being picked here was one of the few guys to do himself justice in this game.

One of my favourite Test Matches ever. Gayle, Sarwan, Tayrol, Benn, Nash, Ramdin all absolutely sublime.

Wowee, that was a ***y performance by the Windies, once we get three or four holes in the line up filled we will be a v. good team, brillinat for Windies cricket as a hole and a bowling spell to match all bowling spells seen on the ground, great test match to watch with ebbs and flows throughout but in the end my Windie boys do it.
