holy ****
At least Tyron has form in 20/20.

Mortaza has been playing international cricket for a number of years and has done nothing of any note. Got a terrible 20/20 record as well. Kolkata apparently wanted some pace in their attack but his not even that quick, Taylor is quicker (and better of course).

Good for him though. Sets him up for life. :)

Don't want to splash the cash on a guy whose form is just built upon six months work...

Say what you will about JP and his price but his dominated in first class cricket and South African domestic cricket for a number of years.
Something like $ 50,000 for Klinger won't be the worst punt ever would it, and as for JP, given the kind of money likes of Henderson and Mortaza are getting, now i feel he should have also got more money than what he has got

No takers for Yusuf Abdulla, Daniel Harris, Kemar Roach. Chucker Bird, Michael Dighton, Michael Hill and Brett Geeves.

As I said, it's an auction.
You don't waste money, even if it's $50,000, until you have got the players you are after.

For example, Bangalore got KP early, so they could then go after guys for smaller amounts.

It's an auction.
If more than one team wants a player, then the price will be driven up. If not, then they become relative steals.
I know that, but why would any of the teams want players like these at such huge prices, when likes of Mills or Collingwood who are much better players than Mortaza or Henderson are not even getting one-foruth of what they getting, its crazy...

Taylor to Punjab for $150,000.

Mumbai don't want to do any more business. Auction over.

Such a shame, Royals should have either gone for Geeves or Abdulla, they have no slots left now, do they.

Btw is Brad Haddin still unsold?

Surprised there were no takers for Stuart Clark but maybe his elbow injury put pay to any deal. It would be risky signing someone up who has been injured for the whole summer and there are no guarantees about how he will shape up when he does comeback.
