This is dire, Royals wasted a lot of money on a pretty average player, just because he has done well in the county circuit hardly ,means he is going to do the same against international players.

Seriously likes of Hendrson and Duminy going at such astronomic prices and people are saying Clarke is over-priced...!!
Thing is, that was their strategy last year, and it worked. He's someone who's been on the edge of international cricket, so it's not as if he's a useless player.

No takers for Sarwan and Australian flavour of the month, Michael Klinger.
Pretty surprised Klinger hasn't found any buyers, he is form of his life and won't cost much either, i am Royals fans, so i hope they pick these low profile players from around the world.

Royals have Quiney already, so I suppose Klinger would be doubling up a bit.

KP's price is ridiculous, but Bangalore can take a deep breath they have finally got a non-test-only player...

Flintoff deserved his price. The utility he will bring will be tremendous. CSK appears favorites this time. Also loved the way they got Thushara.

Don't want to splash the cash on a guy whose form is just built upon six months work...

Say what you will about JP and his price but his dominated in first class cricket and South African domestic cricket for a number of years.

But still US $ 650,000 is way too much for him imo.
I agree it's a bit steep, but I suppose that's the thing with the bidding, prices are pushed up steeply if someone happens to fit into two teams plans.

I think it's okay with Rajasthan though, they can afford to take a hit to get someone they really want because they've done well with other players.

Pup is just miffed that no one rates Steven Smith. :)
Oh, is he in there too, i didn't knew about that, but gotta be honest, for a guy of his age he is pretty talented, though he far from ready for to rub shoulders with the big boys, but he is definitely a good cricketer in the making, won't be the worst buy at $ 25,000 or something.

They have, i didn't knew that tbh, great signing if that's the case, i hope they sign Noffers or some other bowlers too, would add depth to the bowling stocks.

They have Ross Taylor, who has a very good T20 record, made a huge difference once they had him in the middle order.

Now they have Ryder as well.
