Yep, and hopefully that will calm everyone down a bit. The IPL is just a domestic competition with a few overseas players, after all.

I kind of feel like interest in most things tail off after a while. I'm sure I read somewhere that T20 crowds are flattening off / tailing off now over here.

Hoping Kolkata picks up one of Jerome Taylor, Kyle Mills or Kula.

Making a full strength team look like:

SC Ganguly (*)
BB McCullum
RT Ponting
DB Das
LR Shukla
WP Saha (+)
KD Mills/JE Taylor
AB Agarkar
I Sharma
BAW Mendis
AB Dinda

First reserve: DJ Hussey

If McCullum and Ponting in town its hard to put Hussey in above them but the guy is hard not put in the team. The limit is 4 internationals right?

Another guy that was hard not put in the team, Butt being out made that a little bit easier though. Maybe Gayle/McCullum/Ganguly could be better than Ganguly/McCullum/Ponting.

Yeah, love the thought of Gayle/McCullum/Ganguly at the top of a T20 line-up.

Whatever it takes!!!
They will probably put some other Indian batter there in their middle order and have Maharoof as their all rounder, if they don't get the likes of Flintoff or even Henderson.

Yeah Maharoof wouldn't be too bad an option but the guys I named don't lose much in the batting (and in the case of Flintoff add a bit) and improve the bowling.
