Most he's ever bowled against us is 4 overs. After 6-0-70-0 I think they'll have to stop bowling him.
The match is at his home ground so I think they'll play him. Please please please play White!
And let him bowl is full 10.![]()
Yeah, I agree. I cringe every time I pick up an Australian newspaper (or one of Ernest's posts) and read how crap the New Zealand bowling attack is. New Zealand in fact have quite a good attack, particularly in one day cricket.I think cricket fans the world over underestimate how disciplined our bowling is. We bowl as a unit and to plans and we whittle away.
Yeah even our Test attack is solid. People just look over the attack don't see the names Steyn, McGrath or Bond and declare it crap.Yeah, I agree. Without Ryder I don't think we can trust Cumming and Elliott to make up 10 overs TBH.Is Cumming going to come in for Elliott? If Sunday's game taught us anything, it's that we need as much batting as possible. Since Elliott didn't bowl, I think he should be dropped in favour of a in-form specialist batsman. Cumming is over there, is in great form, and has the ability to bat in different situations. Alternatively, Patel can be dropped for Cumming and Elliott has to bowl a fair few overs (perhaps Taylor and even Cumming himself could also bowl a few).
Reckon Taylor deserves a crack with the ball. From what i've seen of his bowling, I don't think it's too bad.Without Ryder I don't think we can trust Cumming and Elliott to make up 10 overs TBH.
Voges is a better OD bowler than White imo, atleast he knows where he wants to pitch the ball.
Won't have Hussey at 4 tbh, last two games he has been batting at 6 and instantly he has started to score runs, so he should bat six, and Voges should bat 4, where he usually bats for WA.So how should our lineup look on Friday?
I think our lineup will be..
1 James Hopes
2 David Warner
3 Michael Clarke
4 Michael Hussey
5 David Hussey
6 Adam Voges
7 Cameron White
8 Brad Haddin
9 Mitchell Johnson
10 Nathan Bracken
11 Shaun Tait
12 Callum Ferguson
Just saying that without Ryder its a bit of a risk especially considering this is a successful attack and team. Sure the batting didn't fire but that is not to say it can't or won't.Reckon Taylor deserves a crack with the ball. From what i've seen of his bowling, I don't think it's too bad.
Cumming's wrong footed medium pacers arent too bad either. He often beats people with lack of pace. Mightn't be a bad surprise ploy in the middle overs for the Aussies to deal with, could just be the type of guy who chips out a couple of wickets because of the Aussies obvious lack of confidence at the moment.
When you open the batting with Hopes and Warner, you need a longer batting lineup.Brad Haddin at 8? Talk about overkill!
DWTA. Been through this though, so I'll leave it at that.Haddin opening and Hopes at 8.
The match isn't being played at North Sydney Oval.Haddin opening and Hopes at 8.
It's not being played against South Australia either. The match isn't being played at North Sydney Oval.
