Whenever Ross Taylor does that and gets out, he gets absolutely blasted for it - and rightfully so. Despite the fact that it went for six this time, though, it was stiill ****ing stupid.

It was a glorious moment though. Right out of the middle, beautiful.

Mills > Vettori with the bat IMO.

(Yeah, I'm getting a bit carried away. I might not genuinely believe this when I calm down)

Wow, NZ have made hard work of this. With a R/R around 3 for the first 40 overs it looks like they've been batting defensively just because they can. Ironic because in tests they always play too many shots.

Well, maybe he's better off with a bit more responsibility up the order. If J-Rydz come back for Melbourne, drop out Elliott and leave Mills where he is.

Yeah, but if he'd done that and got out - again - we'd all be in here moaning about what a stupid shot it was. It's still stupid if it goes for six.. it was entirely premediated (as that shot always is with him) and completely un-necessary given the state of the game.

This game was never going to be won in a canter.

Hmm no.. five wickets in hand is plenty, NZ should be looking to wrap this up inside the powerplay.
