I'd almost consider using Peter McGlashan as a specialist six or seven in one-day cricket..his ability to find the boundary is incredible.

Great to see him get to 100. Moved from 50 to 100 in only about 40 balls, nicely timed innings.

Hope he can play like this in the ODIs as well.

Well I suppose Elliott's doing a good job here. He's striking at 100 and rotating to the strike to McCullum well.

"They do it, so why don't we"? After all it is just a preparation game, and that too a limited overs one....Anyway just my personal observation.

Good no-nonsensical century from McCullum and I seriously hope he has not peaked early. Fingers crossed as to where the NZ bowling stands atm.
