Don't disagree that Dussey deserved his chance, but like you, think the bowling looks a bit weak. Whatever you may think of Hauritz, afaic he's quite comfortably a better OD bowler than White/Dussey/Clarke.
So it really comes down to White vs Hauritz yeah?

I would rather Hopes opening to Hussey, hoping he proves me wrong and makes some runs.

EDIT: Is it just me, or are the selectors hinting at preparing him to open in tests and bring someone like Hodge into the middle order?

BARNES OUT
Morne Morkel looks so much like Brett Finch that it's just ridiculous.

Also, last time Steyn played in Melbourne in and ODI (was at the dome I think) didn't he get absolutely flayed to all parts by Jaques?

It's a minor point because he's still very effective, but wasn't Steyn more like 150kph when he was destroying NZ in 2007? atm he's sharp, but not sharp enough to really worry anyone....slower than Johnson and Tait, and similar to Morkel/Parnell/Ntini.

Virat Kohli (c)
In the event that Australia some-how collapsed for say 220-odd, I wouldn't back this Australian bowling line-up to defend. I'm not saying they couldn't, but Jeez wouldn't you want another front-line bowler in there?

Yes but I heard him say that he's been nursing a quad injury so he's not really slipping himself.

Haha, Healy saying Marsh bats like Warner.

Planning on heading down to this after work, hope we can put some runs on the board and I can have a good chase to look forwards to.
