Tony Greig who has just been chosen would have been ideal.

I was almost tempted to go for Stewart and Greig as a 6, 7 combo, but with Sobers already in my squad and Stewart being chosen by Goughy, I decided a specialist bat and specialist keeper was the way to go.

Going along nicely now. I was looking at Greig, Statham, Gower, Tate and Kallicharan for my last picks just gone, so I'm not surprised they are going but it just means more research needed now.

Remember that we have a ground draft for where your team will play it's home matches coming up straight after the player draft. It goes once around in reverse order from the player draft so I will start then Goughy will go, then Michaelf7777777 and so on...

Oh yeah he picked Mark Richardson.

I know of one poster on this site who would be surprised that Richardson was picked ahead of Atherton.

Yeah, but you forget that if you take out all the times Atherton got out for a low score he would average much higher than Richardson.

My ninth round pick is John Snow, this completes my bowling attack, I was going to go with another opener this round but even if I miss out of the guy I want there are still a few quality players left while the fast bowling ranks are pretty much bare.

Snow played 49 tests for England taking 202 wickets @ 26.66, I expect his accurate fast bowling will compliment the fiery pace of Hall and the wicket taking ability of Lindwall.
