I'm getting too obsessed with this. Find myself thinking about who I'm going to pick next and who others are likely to pick a little big too much.

Yeah, Lloyd is a quality, quality pick.

I was hoping Bedser was going to slide down to me you sod - would've been the perfect complement to my existing attack.

Not surpirsed Lloyd still left, his slight lowish average probably means he seen as a bit behind the rest. Though I rate him higher then Kallis and will add a fair bit in the field and as captain.

Bedser perfect fool to Murali and Bishop. Just need one more attack minded bowler and we will be perfect in the bowling department. Need someone that can bat though. Mind you I rate Bishop as lower order bat, FC hundred and all. Just never saw the best at Test level, just like his bowling.

Interested to see what you'll do with that number 7 position, theres not really any all rounders of note left that are capable of batting 7 imo.

There actually quite a few that would be prefect at 7 as batting all rounders and pretty high quality with the ball. Most are on par or better then Kallis bowling wise. The problem for me going to be the bowling all rounder at 8. No 7 most likely will be a specialist fielder itbt.

Why do you need an all-rounder at number 8? If I were in place of you I would be concerned about the fast bowling department of my team (regardless of Bedser). If you have 3 all-rounders at no. 7, 8 and Kallis, then I'm afraid your fast bowling department will be way behind that of some of the other teams...You will have possibly 5 players who can bowl fast or medium, but that'll be an achievement in quantity, not in quality...You should get the best possible fast (medium) bowler available at 8 (maybe at 9, 10 or 11) regardless of his batting skills...For batting, fill the no. 2 and 3 positions with quality batsmen...Then depending on the balance of your team, you may decide what to do with no. 7, maybe a batting all-rounder who bowls spin (to accompany Murali in the 4th innings in dusty surfaces)...

I got three seamers already, four is one too many. ;)

Nah there not really that many top line seamers left. You better off going for a bit of depth and balance and going for someone that can hold a bat. I don't think your going to lose too much with what is likely to be left going with someone that can bat.

There also two very good spin bowling all rounders left. That would complete my bowling attack better then the seamers that are likely to be left as well.

However there are 4-5 seamers that I would probably go for next round if they are still around. Though I doubt that would be the case.

I was tossing up between picking between Lloyd and Dravid, however went for Dravid as I thought it was more likely Dravid would be taken before my next go.

Arthur Morris
An elegant, aggressive batsman, he's one of Australia's best ever left handed batsman.

Picked in Australia's Team of the Century, and picked in his teammates Don Bradman's best ever team, Morris, in my opinion is the best opening batsman that was left.

My team was also lacking that Australian flavour, so it's good to have an Aussie who will join the 2 Indians, 2 English and 2 West Indians that are currently in my XI.

I've got an allrounder on my mind, who I will probably go for next round, but he will surely be taken by then.

Probably the one everyone is talking about.

Jakester1288

So far my team is looking like this:

1.
2.
3.
4. Brian Lara
5.
6.
7. Richard Hadlee
8. Richie Benaud
9. Ian Healy
10. Daniel Vettori
11.

With Michael Hussey to fit in somewhere. He could open, if I fail to grab any, and I want Lara to stay in the middle order, so he wont be opening.
