One of the better days for Bangladesh

Despite being outclassed by Murali, today has been one of the better days for Bangaldesh the test cricket team, this year. And thanks to Shakib al Hasan who topped up his 4th 5 wicket haul of the year (in 8 tests, to be more specific 11 innings), a decent 26 to give Bangladesh a fighting chance of going down with a double digit deficit.

Bangladeshi captain Ashraful has shown once again that he should not be anywhere near the team if it really wants to look forward. One expected a better showing from the rising talent Roqibul Hasan though.

Bangladesh cannot expect to chase anything over 220 in the 4th innings, and this means that barring a spectacular collapse by Sri Lankan batsmen (which is not improbable considering their wretched recent form, but untenable considering the lower order hitting of Vaas), they can kiss any chances of win good bye.
