chase yar own ass.Nice to see there's an Otago in the subcontinent.
Nah, I'm not in the mood to mimc you.chase yar own ass.
Both Jaques and Hughes are very good strokeplayers, and since they are the two blokes most likely to replace Hayden therefore i don't think maintaing that attacking imputous would too much of a problem, of course they won't be as intimidating or imposing as Haydos but they have the capability of being effective nonetheless...If Hayden goes they would lose that attacking imputous in the top order, which could incidently help them, it might discourage them from trying to score every innings of a test match with a run rate of like 3.5rpo
I don't think its fair to say Hayden hasn't performed at all since making his come in India, in the 3rd and 4th test he played substantial knocks in his very well known aggressive fashion, its true he hasn't done enough in tests he has played in Australia, but i still believe he has still got enough fight left in him to go out on his own terms, with his head held high.Am happy for Dos to be given the remainder of this Series. However, professional cricket is a cut-throat industry, and if you don't perform (which he hasn't in the seven Tests since his return from injury) and you're on the wrong side of 35, then you have to expect that the guillotine will fall.
Jeez, now c'mon Marsh is everything but a talentless or a no good future option, yeah he isn't cut out to open the innings test cricket and that is something he better realise quickly otherwise he might ruin prospects of him playing test cricket for Australia as a middle order batsman. For Australia's sake I hope Hayden hangs on and maybe even comes good, because if he doesn't, then the selectors will have every reason (in their minds) to bring in the very dire, talentless, no future option of Shaun Marsh. This may then affect the careers of Katich or Jaques in the long term with favouritism etc.
Absolutely ridiculous article.
