So I would really like NZ to just bat. Would really love to see a NZ batsman score a 100 as well, hopefully How.

How will end up better than McIntosh anyway, from what I saw of McIntosh in the first dig. Slow pitch and he's late on short pitched stuff. His time may be limited.

Why do TV and Radio commentators love McIntosh so much? He's awful. Heh as no future if he can't play short pitched bowling, whatever Martin Crowe thinks. At least How and Cumming can combat bouncers reasonably. Imagine McIntosh at the WACA vs Lee.

I might throw something at the radio commentators. Martin is not the best bowler in NZ. Mills, O'Brien and Franklin are all superior. The thing is, this is a flat pitch and Taylor did what was expected, unlike many of the specialist batsmen in this test match.

WI posters: Thoughts on Chattergoon? I know he's scored a few runs before this, is this a slump or is he a bit of a fill in until someone better comes along?

Martin only peaks in SA or on a favourable NZ pitch, which this isn't. Everywhere else he isn't worth much.
