Cumming do his best you have to feel.
He's averaging 118.25 this season at the moment. Fair effort.Bloody Sinclair and his hundreds.
Just opening. Are those statistics just in the opening position? Otherwise whats happened to Jones' double century for Auckland against the West Indies?
Is he becoming New Zealand's version of Mark Ramprakash? He's averaging 118.25 this season at the moment. Fair effort.
Fair enough, presumed so.Just opening.
He is carving up.Another ton for Sinclair. 121* at the moment.
Good list, and a nice selection of batsman.Athlai made a list of openers so Ive just made a list of other batsmen of note. I chose them on how often theyre talked about so its not about selection and there may be a few others Ive forgotten or left out.
Few things of note. Greg Hay having a terrible start to the season. Peter Fulton doing well, along with Broom.

Probably more interesting now that Taylor is injured.
Gillespie goes and Mills takes his spot.Yep, not surprising to see Guptill make an impact as soon as he comes back to FC cricket, especially on that pitch..the bloke is class.
Kane Williamson has also taken 3 wickets for ND, handy scalps too...Myburgh, Stewart and Van Wyk.
If Taylor can't play in the second test who would his replacement be? The likely choice I guess is Oram, but I hope like hell they go with a specialist batsman, in which case I think Broom deserves a crack.
