Useful over that.

I'm playing a game as Surrey while I recover from the disappointment of that loss to Australia in my NZ game. Turns out Surrey are a bit **** in this game. Only one CC win so far in the first season, but it was a useful effort...

Yeah I was surprised. I thought I could get some runs off him, but threw a couple of wickets away in the process!

Greatest moment ever, took a 10fer, with Flintoff, was pretty damn happy, first one i've ever managed in any ICC (remember the Lancashire batting legend that was Tim Roberts spinning his way to 9 on me once, catching the other in true Hadlee style)

Then look at the other games, find out its not even gonna be the best bowling of the season, so unbelievably ****ed off, 2 in one week!

Thats a great effort with Flintoff, congrats - I've never had a player take all ten wickets in an innings over the years of playing so you've done something I've never achieved (so far anyway). Though have to laugh at Alistair Cook taking the man of the match award over Kaneria (with 15 wickets in the match) in the Essex vs Derbyshire match.

Ugh. Set them 201, was looking at a comfortable win when I took the 9th wicket. Saqlain had figures of 3-2-3-5 at one point. So annoyed.

You should give Cam White bowling technique for aggressive bowling, he transforms into quite the all rounder, averaging 45-50 with the bat and 30-35 with the ball with a low strike rate. Quite awesome.
You haven't got any screenshots of profiles of your oz players a bit down the track do you?
Be interesting to compare what sort of success different users had with players like Watson, White, Johnson, Symonds etc

Unfortunately I can't get access to the game at the moment, but just off the top of my head; we're currently 2nd in test rankings and 1st in ODIs in the year 2012. Some test stats

Jaques: 60ish games averaging 70-72 with 23 centuries
Hussey: 70ish games averaging 68ish with 21 centuries
Ponting: 160ish games averaging 60 with 52 or 53 centuries
Hayden (just retired last season): can't remember number of games but averaging 55ish with 40+ centuries
Pomersbach: 30-40 games averaging 45-50 with 11 centuries
Johnson: averaging 45 with 3 centuries

Jaques, Hussey, Ponting, and Hayden used to be my fab four until Pomersbach replaced Hayden. Jaques is particularly good in ODIs too, got me 3 hundreds in a row averages 60.

As soon as I took control I dropped Clarke, Symonds, and Watson. Lee and Clark were gone within a year, but I think that was because I was noob at controlling the bowlers. Mitchell Johnson for me is a massive strike bowler regularly gets 6 or 7fers but really expensive averaging in the mid thirties. In my game there's a MacGill mach II Aaron Aston who emerges in the 2009/10 season who is quite decent in tests and OK in ODIs keeps it tight and takes wickets.

Fulton is in fantastic form. You might remember in my story (which I'll bring up to date soon) he got two tons in the Test series against Australia, but he's going alright in the ODIs too.

But also, there's a selection conundrum ahead. Hay is knocking on the door pretty hard with his form. Hmmm.

Decided to start a new game as Lancs on ICC 2006 Ashes Edition.

Brad Hodge has had an incredible conversion rate so Far. With his one OD 50 coming as a 98* and his one FC 50 coming as a 56(I was gutted he got out)

Also was very happy to score my first ever 20/20 century with Ian Sutcliuffe

Very handy start to the season from Hodge, particularly in the one day matches. Good luck for the rest of the season! :)
