They love a knock out competition or two don't they?
I'm not sure how they keep managing to do it. I've seen 3 or 4 of their league games this season and they have been terrible in all of them. I haven't seen the Arse game yet but I'll catch it at some stage. They were immense against Chelsea.

Nah qualifying for the next stage of the UEFA and beating the Arse should see him through to January. He'll probably be given the season unless we gravitate towards the bottom post-transfer window.

Haha just saw David James last night. Pitt suspicious in his absence.
Been absent for a while, ITBT.

Shocking mistake from James, yadda yadda yadda, it's all been said before. Not remotely disappointed to be out of the UEFA Cup, fully expected it from the start. Would have taken a draw with Milan and three defeats if I was offered it before the group stage, and nothing has changed. The league is still our priority.

I'd have been ridiculously gutted if I was you, the Milan game should've been 3 points.

Yeah agreed with Smith, the league is the priority, sure, but given the way the Milan game went I'd've been gutted.

FWIW I think Ince should be given time, much as I don't like him.

Not a good mentality that.Agreeing with Smith. Should have advanced.

Anyone watch Villa v Zillina (sp?) last night?

Thought that Zillina were shockingly dirty, should have had at least 2 players sent off for repeated cynical tackling and general dirty play. That said, they were excellent on the ball and deserved the win.
