Well they know he's a bit of a bell-end but the choice is between success with Ronaldo in the team and no success. Because the fact is, he's awesome.

They do still like him though. You don't play a role in two title successes and a champions league victory that went well beyond crucial without becoming pretty popular with the fans. We just prefer other players, my personal favourite being Vidic. Was chuffed to see him grab the winner today.

Havent seen the highlights, so cant comment, though Ronnie for all he is is a total knobjockey but is such a good player we let him off. If he played for another club we wouldnt **** on him if he was on fire, but he's our ****, and we like him for it

Regarding that earlier post about luck, if anything, we were unlucky that more deflections didn't go our way. There must have been 49/50 deflections from random ricochet clearances/shots/passes/blocks in that penalty area that went Sunderland's way. Frustrating as hell

As for Ronaldo, pretty sure it was a legit injury as he was showing studmarks off? Or maybe I'm still thinking of that Vidic vs. Richards thing.

Anderson is a fantastic midfielder - a terrible shot the past two seasons but he scored a few prior to coming here in his 24 league games so clearly it's possible - just having a bit of a Robbie Keane situations I suppose. But I don't care, he's been great in both creative attacking and defensive football so I'm pleased. Most United fans have a pretty firm belief that he'll be a great player in the future, whereas the likes of Nani etc. will merely be good. He already has been used to man-mark Gerrard and Fabregas to great effect.
