Day 3
Australia look to set big target
Australia are in control of the third Test, finishing the day with a lead of 223 and still 5 wickets in hand.
New Zealand were 304-7 overnight, and things started well for them when Vincent reached a well-earned 50. But the new ball wrapped up the innings reasonably quickly, the final score being 349.
In response Australia started badly with the early wicket of the woefully out of form Hayden, but Ponting and Jaques got things back on track and they erased most of the deficit before lunch.

Day 4
Test series comes down to last day
Both teams come in to the 5th day of the 3rd Test with a strong chance of winning the series. New Zealand need 90 runs, Australia need 5 wickets.
The first session of Day 4 was dominated by two people - Mike Hussey and Jeetan Patel. Hussey played brilliantly for 103, and Patel took two crucial wickets to severely dent Australia's hopes of setting a substantial target.

Again our batting was worryingly poor - a great start by Fulton and Spearman but a woeful collapse. But Vettori and Mills were superb and we got away with it. SA really are amazingly poor. A bit of a disappointing series for him, 7 wickets at 38.14. But his economy rate was 4.45, nothing wrong with that.
That doesn't include the finals though, and (although I don't want to give anything away) it's safe to say he makes his presence felt there.
