**Official** New Zealand in Australia

I think that's a bit harsh on NZ's bowlers, IMO they're a bit better than ordinary. Ordinary is being too kind to our batting though of course.
Indeed. As I said before the series, don't judge NZ's team as a whole. The batting is obviously quite poor (or "inexperienced" at very best) but there's nothing wrong with the bowling unit.

A lot I would imagine. A captain can't take the field with a team he doesn't believe in or want to be playing with.
It was obvious Ponting didn't want White for the third test as he didn't bowl him...and now hopefully White will never play Test cricket again

Symonds issue seems a bit of a non-event.

Back in the hotel by 9:30 and the other bloke was ******ed from the premises. Doesn't seem like much happened to me.

Yeah well everyone else signs autographs so him not doing it dosen't make him look too good does it
Some players don't like to sign autographs while they're concentrating on the game (notably McGrath), but will gladly stay around after a day's play to please the fans.

Doesn't mean he's not a good guy.

Disappointed Symonds didn't lay some bloke out tbh. Hopefully we'll get proper news stories over the next few days now, instead of this crap.

Well he didn't did he. And the fact he couldn't even turn around and acknowledge us while having just reached 300 wickets and having nz 7-140 makes me sick.

BARNES OUT
I was at the cricket on sunday and he wouldn't bother signing mine or anyone elses autograph at fine leg. Really ticked me off. I have also been to the coffee shop in Lanecove he owns and met him and he was very rude. Just makes me wonder what he did to his wife. But from all reports and experiences he is an asshole.
Nicest sportsman I've ever met. Had a long chat, bought me a beer and had a trundle on the dance floor with us. Couldn't speak highly enough of him.

Sounds like the problem is all you tbh, and not Brett Lee.
So I am the problem for requesting an autograph as many other fans did while he was at the fine leg boundary and new zealand were about to be bowled out. yeah good one mate good too see you make alot of sense.
