**Official** New Zealand in Australia

BARNES OUT
Would back McCullum to play the worst shot you've ever seen involving jumping and wild slashing. In doing so, he'd get a substantial edge and it'd go to first slip.

Like every other time he's ever gotten out.

If he doesn't cut too close to his body for the umpteenth time against a pacer then he'll probably slog sweep Kejza straight up in the air and get caught. Thats my pick.

Now that we're bagging him he'll probably score a hundred and play at five for the next gazillion tests.

RTDAS
He (arguably) should've played in Brisbane but there's no way he should play in Adelaide. Krejza should and will play, he'll probably get pasted but he deserves the shot on one of the flatter and rougher wickets in Aus.
Yeah agreed, but the fact Siddle's somehow leapfrogged Bollinger and Noffers is really grinding my gears.

Cricketer Of The Year
Siddle currently returning match figures of 2/109 against WA. I hope he fails miserably because he doesn't deserve to be playing for Australia.

There I said it.

Siddle to get figures of 5/150 after four boundary catches off his bowling and the bonus wicket of Chris Martin (wickets: Ryder, Taylor, McCullum, Southee, Martin)

Siddle won't play..

Despite us getting smashed that game actually showed a few positives for mine. Ryder looks comfortable against express pace and good bowlers, if Taylor gets it right, he is class, McCullum is not a number 5 (if Bracewell realises this, it is definitely a positive), Elliott is not test class (yes..another positive), Flynn seems to be growing leaps and bounds as a batsman by every game, very promising.

Now lets play the WC final again:@
I'd swap the League WC for a Test cricket win over Aus any day, not that its realy our WC as such, more likely the "NZ Pacific Islanders who have come to live in South Auckland"s cup.

Annoys me a bit that the PI teams had most of their possible player pool in the NZ and in some cases from what I've heard the Aussie team.

Positive 1: Comfortable yes, but he needs to grow a brain

Positive 2: Lets see if he can show consistency

Positive 3: Bracewell will never realise that

Positive 4: It'd be nice if he was moved up the order and had a platform set by hisb ating partners above him

Not knocking the positves bar the McCullum one, but it'd have been far more positive for the batsmen if we'd batted to a satisfactory level in both games i.e. 200-250 odd in both innings, because then we probably would have won.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure whether McCullum will ever realise it either. Hoping the new coach, whoever that may be, will get his ego in check, and push him down to 7.
Totally concur, McCullum is starting to really really frustrate me. He needs to earn the right to bat at 5 and not think that he is "god's gift" to cricket. At the rate he is going he will never be better than Gilchrist.

I think that sums up how the whole of NZ is feeling about McCullum at the moment. It is understandable why Bracewell wanted McCullum to move up to number 5 but the experiment has failed, he needs to admit it and move McCullum back to his rightful 7. For someone so talented it is a big waste.

Ahem, I believe the quote "I am New Zealand cricket" came from the great (sized) Jesse Ryder...

McCullum might yet tatoo that on himself though..
