Been a great test this one. Ball dominating bat, Katich tonning up. Taylor just has to make 3 figures now and it will nearly be perfect. If NZ win, it will be perfect.

Yeah, gonna be a nervous watch tomorrow morning. I feel like this has happened alot with NZ. A target has been set, theres a slim chance of victory but atleast there is a chance. Then I wake up 30mins late, tune into the cricket, and see we have lost 2-3 wickets already and its basically all over. Southee's debut?

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
Am still undecided if I should make a conscious effort to see tomorrow's play on TV, but it may be a short experience.

We shouldn't have been playing him anyways. Offers nothing with the bat and nothing with the ball. Hopefully Fulton will be at 3 with Elliott missing out in Adelaide. But I doubt it, NZ selection policies are a joke.

Its a real shame that Flynn got out because had we come back tommorow with 6 wickets still left then we were a real chance.We still are a shot but Taylor has to bat through and make 150, Elliott must stick out to the end off the day.

AWTA. Don't need Elliott in the side. I can see why he was selected, to add an extra bowling option, part-time. But Ryder has shown up he's more than capable of that job.
Really hope Fulton plays.

yea i agree with both of those comments. Kyle Mills is a better batsman than Elliott at the moment but I would prefer to have fulton brought in as Elliott offers nothing with the ball that ryder cant handle.

Exactly. If it was 143/4 we were in with a great chance. 143/5 and you just have to hope that Elliott can just stay there and offer some support for Taylor, and atleast Elliot could be the "start of session wicket" and everything will all be OK.

Now, with 143/6 we only have Vettori and Taylor left. Atleast one wicket will fall in the first 5 overs tomorrow, and there is no Elliott type player that I wouldnt mind being that wicket. Both Vettori and Taylor are starting from scratch, they basically have to get through to lunch unscathed to have any chance. I cant really see that happening.

It really shows how much our dismal collapse in our first innings has affected the outcome of the match. If only we had battled a little harder, if only we didnt have Elliott in the team to do squat all. All we needed was to get as close to the Australian score as possible, we fell 40-45 runs too short.

Its gonna be a tough ask, I have hope, but can only think of what could have been.
