In the past 20 or so years? Name 15.

If you're a batsman who at domestic level bats in the middle order but opens in Tests for some reason, you're not a specialist opener.

However if you used to bat in the middle order but then got promoted to open, and then also change to opening in First Class cricket, you become a specialist.

Katich bats at 3 for NSW, Vincent usually bats at 4, and Sinclair at 3. I believe Sehwag opens at both domestic and international level now.
you're nitpicking now. this argument is over you're a fool

as for looking up every batsman who has gone up to open... get real...

there's an absorbing test match to watch

Haha, all aboard the failboat. Captain: you.

You said there are plenty examples of middle order batsmen who successfully opened.

I can think of very few, especially for Australia. Langer and now Katich...who else? I want to know. You said there's plenty so you must know who they are, otherwise you wouldn't know that there's plenty of them.

But hey, change the subject because you're wrong, it's okay. This argument is over.

Current Over rate is 12, which is again behind par. Good news for Ricky is that NZ put in their overs fast enough to allow him to be a bit laid back. Only 6 more overs to be bowled after this in 30 minutes.

You get the feeling stumps flying to a Midge special is a matter of time.

EDIT: Two seconds later, boom! Damn I'm good.

Haha, no, you made a statement that batsman should be able to bat anywhere. Then you said there had been plenty of examples. I called you out on it and asked for examples, but you are taking your bat and ball and going home because you're simply wrong. Good work champ.
