Jesus Christ when will touring captains learn that you should bat first at the Gabba 99% of the time.
Won the toss and bowl? Sounds dodgy, pitch isn't gonna offer that much movement, hopefully we can get through that.
Disagree. Too many times touring captains have been drawn into bowling first and it very rarely works.
New Zealand falling into the tourist trap of bowling first.

Aussies to be 3-350 by stumps.

This could turn out to be an intiguing test match, one that I now expect will go down the the wire. I think it could possibly pan out like this:

Australia: 212
New Zealand: 283
Australia: 324
New Zealand: 256/8

NZ win by two wickets!

Keep in mind Australia have just come back from India. Let's not get too ahead of ourselves.

By the way, I'm so gutted that Vettori fell into the visitors' trap of bowling first at the Gabba. He'll really be rueing that tonight.
In fairness, well, I can't think of a Gabba Test where it wasn't the case that the side batting first put on a big total.

Gutsy from Vettori, had faith in his bowlers and they came through for him. Outstanding cricket by NZ in general, really great stuff, juicy deck* or not (it wasn't THAT juicy).

* I said 'deck', by the way.
