Well that was unexpected. Good stuff, but there's a way to go yet. I fear Flem may have made a good call in comparing the match to the 1st test against South Africa last year.

Apart from Fleming, all our batsmen are better than those who were there or better than they were when they toured themselves.

And the bowling attack is far better and smarter too, so there is hope, though probably not for you. :p

well done to new zealand, bowled in the right areas and used the conditions to their advantage, poor effort from the strong australian batting line up, sum up the conditions, suck it up and tough it out, eg hussey and clarke, not enough of them did, not to take too much away from unzud.

waiting to see how clark goes tomorrow, this pitch is made for him.

By the way, I'm so gutted that Vettori fell into the visitors' trap of bowling first at the Gabba. He'll really be rueing that tonight.
