Ugh, so we have to put up with him until after India? WIll be interesting to see his selections for that and the preceeding WIndies matches. Probably will ask Flynn to open with How and play Elliott at 6 with Hopkins coming in at 7.

Can we start a count of the stories we'll hear this summer from the commentators?

- Richie's "be there at the end" story
- Chappelli's "oh great another big fast bowler!" story
- A few Shane Bond mentions, no doubt

A shame Jaques isn't playing, I'll miss hearing about the weight of his bat.

Any others?

Stories about Daniel Vettori no doubt. While his bowling has improved considerably in the last 4 years, the Australian commentators often overrate him.

Shame Joel Garner's not playing.

We'd have heard about the weight of his, um, bat as well.

Although we still might, with Kerry O'Keefe on the ABC radio coverage.

Mills has to be a injured? I was worried about his form but to drop him in place of another bowler out of form is bizarre and yet they stick with batters who have never shown the goods at this level, it has to be a injury.
