It's fair to say that was the exact opposite of my feelings as the game entered the sixth minute of injury time.

In terms of overall play there we didn't deserve to lose, in terms of end product and finishing we definitely did (though that said Bendtner had a couple of impressive misses there).
Missed far too many chances at 0-0 - if we'd gone 1-0 up there the game may well have been different.

Top game - end to end stuff throughout. Fabregas uncharacteristically sloppy with his passing and both teams defences quite dodgy with umpteen chances both way. Nasri was easily MOTM, superb when cleaning up down back, setting up attacks or scoring goals. The second goal in particular was quite spectacular, considering the passing and movement that preceded it.
Rafael's goal was pretty good too, should just wear a red headband like his TMNT namesake.

Result could have gone any which way in that game - could have been worse for us, could have been a draw, could have been a win for us. In the end the finishing was practically the only thing that the result rested on and we ****ed up with that. Fair play to Arsenal.

Can't believe some so-called fans are criticising the great man. Ungrateful ****ers. He's a very long way from perfect, but what he's done for the club is immeasurable.

Fail to see how that invalidates my point. It's because of the success Wenger has given us that we're sitting in a shiny new 60,000 seater stadium and the only one of the so-called "big 4" not owned by foreigner investors.
Arsenal aren't inherently as big a club as United or Liverpool nor do we have a Abramovich-style sugar daddy.

How many managers besides Wenger have accomplished an unbeaten season? How many have done it in what is almost undoubtedly the best and strongest league in the world? And how many have done it having spent a comparatively small amount of money?
Man Utd have splashed over £100million in recent years and not managed it. Chelsea have spent something ridiculous under Abramovich, and never managed it. Man City will undoubtedly spend outrageously under the Abu Dhabi Group, and I'd put money on them never achieving it.
Wenger is one of the greatest managers in the modern game. Any club chairman who wouldn't give him a job for life would be a fool, and the Arsenal fans calling for his head in recent days are nothing short of moronic.

That was in the past. Nothing won for four years and not likely to win anything except maybe the Carling Cup this year. That side that went unbeaten has only two remnants now and I don't think Fabregas played much if at all then. To be considered is that none of the other top teams were much to write home about that season. Pretty sure that was before he started bringing in players on the cheap as that team was filled with experienced players who were bought at market price during that time. It's only been since Chelsea had Abramovich that Liverpool, Chelsea and Man Utd have started paying lots of money for players.
The league has certainly improved in quality of players since then so a lot harder for teams to go unbeaten. Not to mention that the top teams are much better now than they were then. Well done by Arsenal that season as they took advatage of the situation and were a great team then.
Wenger definitely is a great manager and lots of chairmen would love to have him. No one should have a job for life though and be devoid of criticism. Fergsuon has achieved much more than Wenger and has his fair share of criticism, some of it well deserved as is some of the criticism Wenger and Arsenal have received.
The Arsenal team out there today was much different than the Arsenal team of most of this season so obviously the criticism helped.. Otherwise they would have been as soft and fragile as they have been before. That being said Man Utd almost did the same to them as Tottenham did as they were the same in the last few minutes and were lucky not to drop two points again.
Again, "Any club chairman who wouldn't give him a job for life would be a fool", is a ridiculous statement. At which other top club is the manager guaranteed a job for life? At which other top club is the manager not to be criticised? At which other top club is the managed assured of his job even if he wins nothing for years on end?
