Errrm, there's a difference between criticism and purely hating on a guy who's playing badly which is what you're doing. Which sort of makes all that drivel you posted rather pointless.
well, I haven't said that I hate Dravid!!!! .... this is getting hilarious now

as I said, you need to first understand what professionalism implies before coming to the table :)

N G from Hongkong: "This is going to be another of those boring, high scoring matches which can only end up drawn. Hong Kong Sixes are the best."

Shastri ranting on. Good cricket from india, asking the Aussies to come forward and attack. If bowling negative line, how many of Krejza's balls didnt pitch outside leg when he was bowling to Ganguly.

Deadset, things like " I haven't supported Dravid for a while now" and having blokes post "**** you Dravid" on here is beyond the criticising you claim to be doing.

As for understanding what professionalism, maybe you need to understand the natural process of ageing before you bring the condescending to your posts.

this is truly ugly stuff... i must say not great viewing but you cant blame the indians i guess they got a bit scared, the aussie really were showing some intent yesterday and looked like they were gonna push ahead today. We have seen the aussies implement this lots cant blame anyone great strategy. All the pressure on the Aussies to make the runs.

What's Shastri saying, I'm studying and not watching.

Also what was Gavaskar saying that pissed off people yesterday?

Mr. Holier than thou, I see the point.

Harbhajan coming into the attack now, hopefully these two bat wisely against him and don't lose any wickets in this session playing any rash shots.

Honestly, please start making posts where the other guy can understand what you're trying to say rather than a continuous barrage of catchphrases which have no relevance to what you've just replied to.

Katich and Hussey together is a recipe for a bit of a snorefest. I like the attrition of test cricket but these two limited players don't make for edifying viewing.

Shastri was criticising India's negative field setting and how tactcics like these are a negative advertisement for the game and how stuff like this would kill viewer interest for test cricket.

India is probably content to slow the over-rate though.
I don't think they can best Hussey's patience. He'll do this forever. India do need wickets, in the end. A couple little sessions like these are OK, but in the end, I don't think going for a draw on day three while still being 200 runs ahead is a smart move.

He's right.

The question is however, is it the Indian cricket team's responsibility to ensure the game is aesthetically pleasing for viewers? Or is it their responsibility to win cricket matches and win a test series?

God this sounds awfully familiar to the Sydney Swans/flooding argument in the AFL!

Exactly. IMO a true Indian cricket fan cannot ever hate Dravid. If they do, they're just fickle ****ers.

Or Kumble for that matter.

As I said, its fine to want them dropped/to retire, but not to loathe them.
Yeah, pretty disgraceful of some of the so called 'Indian Fans' to knock Dravid despite having achieved just about everything there is to achieve in cricket.

Dravid's an absolute legend and I have faith that he can score that one last ton and go out right on top. He's too good to go out any other way.

i don't know what your background is but i don't think a reasonable person would be able
conclude from "not supporting Dravid for a while now" implies that I hate Dravid .... or may be you have developed a technology that can decipher what the other guy is thinking sitting far away from you on the internet

I can't speak for anyone else but at least, I don't hate Dravid like you are claiming .... and as I said this is getting hilarious and such comments shows lack of depth on your part

i don't need to understand what natural process of aging does in sports because a professional does not push himself when he is not at his best either physically or mentally .... you won't find 60 years old running 100 mts in Olympics, why? of that answer, you will need to understand what professionalism implies and when you do, you would probably realize how redundant your 'natural process of aging' comment is :)
