Very defensive but absolutely appropriate tactics by India here. They're in the lead and the Aussies need to score quickly. Why give them the opportunity to do so?

Why haven't you been supporting him? Because he's declining with age? And now he's gone from hero to villain? FFS.
because of this. I don't think it was that hard to figure

if he continues with these crapy performances, he could turn himself into a villain, don't forget public memory is short. even Kapil Dev was booed in an ODI vs WI, following which he announced his retirement .... and even Mahatma Gandhi is looked upon as a villain by many in India so what is Dravid in comparison?

Fickle, so so fickle. The second paragraph sums up why Indian fans have such a horrible reputation worldwide. The fact that people in India can turn anyone into a hate figure is dire in the extreme. Shameful infact.

Appropriate tactics they might seem for the moment, but with 3 days still to go in this game if India are going to play with a defensive mindset and Australia are going to be positive for the rest of the game, then i am sure Australia won't mind it too much as that gives them a chance to relentlessly attack India because they know India are not going to retaliate much and are basically gonna play from within their shells.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
Australia 227 runs behind in the first session of day 3. I don't think they're going to take many risks right now. Imagine they will in the second session when they'll be <175 behind.

well, if you are not an Indian then you shouldn't be commenting on that .... if you are then you should have better things on your agenda then criticizing Indian people in general for their treatment of their sports ppl

don't forget even Tendulkar was booed in Mumbai, his hometown .... and I have no problems with Indian fans criticizing professionals. If you know what professionalism implies then this is not even a matter of debate .... but yeah, anyone criticizing someone like Gandhi does make me feel sad and the fact that some ppl who stand of these cricketers don't give a damn when someone like Gandhi is criticized or when they blow trumpet of cricketers stats and don't give a damn when a solider dies on border representing their country

to me debating on whether to criticize a cricketer is too trivial an issue to merit much attention, more so because some of the fans standing up for Dravid would not even know what India's GDP is. when such ppl come and say that how can you criticize a cricketer who has done so much for INDIA in the past is a pathetic attempt to show some kind of connection to India .:)

my 2 cents

Smart bowling by the Indians. These two need to do something here otherwise too much time will be eaten up.

At least you can't accuse us of being defensive now.

Errrm, there's a difference between criticism and purely hating on a guy who's playing badly which is what you're doing. Which sort of makes all that drivel you posted rather pointless.

What do you expect these two to do, the Indian quicks are bowling way outside off and there are 8 fielders on the off-side, nothing much they can do then.

P.S: Loving Shastri's views and his thoughts on the current field setting from India.

Huss lucky again, Katich lucky again. When will india be luckY?
I think Hussey's the luckiest batsman to play in recent years. He seems to give so many chances and he's come in at a time when the pitches are all dead. At least he plays within his limitations though.

Agreed. This is rubbish stuff.
