Throughout this series Katich has always gotten starts but failed to capitalise. He really needs a big hundred here.

Interestingly Watto was all padded up and there was no sign of Clarke anywhere, is he injured or something or Australia are just reluctant on sending him in at the tail end of the day.

Define "on the slide". He scored 80 odd in the last test. He's had a pretty consistent series without being spectacular. He'd be disappointed with himself for not converting starts, but he hasn't been struggling out there.

Ponting's averaged 43 for the series so far, pretty solid. Nothing great, but he's not been Dravid-esque in how poor he's batted.

Pretty funny that Harbhajan's 300th wicket was him though.

Probably Katich's best innings for the series so far. I thought he played pretty well in the second innings of the first test when batting was fairly tough, but he's looked very in control today. Hopefully these two can make it to stumps and keep things relatively even going into tomorrow. Another wicket makes it India's match again.

What do you expect with Maxwell having a hand in producing the show. He edits the ABC cricket book and the number of errors in this year's edition had to be seen to be believed.
