Yes, definitely won it once, definitely got to another final and lost as well (Spurs IIRC), may have won more but I can't remember too well tbh.
Think they won it in 97 too. Beat Boro in the final, who also lost to The Chavs in the FA Cup and were relegated.

Meanwhile, I'm posting this from the window ledge. ****ing Stoke. Jesus wept. :-O

Delap for England. I mean, seriously - we pick a squad of 23 for a World Cup of which six will never play. Why not take Big Rory as one of them just in case we need a last few minutes of something different?

Incidentally, Richard Logan has now missed five straight pens. STOP TAKING THEM!!!

Didn't happen for Dave Challinor (who, as I'm sure Corrin will tell us, had a much longer throw) so can't see it happening for Delap.

Only way it could be worse is if one had Van Persie in one's dream team.

Oh, wait... 8-)

Also, he has 11 caps for Ireland, and has just broken Theo.

Ah the CDMs are like a Hollywood villain. They're there to purely make everyone who hates them as happy as possible whilst you never truly believe they'll succeed in their evil mission.

Amen to this, please. I'd rather have Tully, even if it is based on one pen he took, but it was quite a memorable one...

Not a thing of beauty but three points after that horror show, was needed to get us back on track. So hoping Ryan's fully fit soon, though.

When he played for us he was the world record holder. Couldn't tackle though; slight problem for a centre-back.

Well the Dongs did for us today, always bugs me to lose the last league game before the FA Cup break. On the positive side it's only £4 to get in at Accrington next week, so will see if anyone is driving there I think. We should be back at full strength there as well - we were without the best left-back and centre-back in the division today (in my parochial eyes at least, but Goodison is pretty much an authority in League One, and I  Andy Taylor)

Sounds like it was a right thriller at OT - fair play to Hull - spent a couple of years being bitter about what they did to our keepers in December 04 and them being the trigger for me losing my luscious locks, but I love watching little sides do well in the Prem (except those Bolton *****), and though they got beat, what a fight they put up.

And Liverpool are one up, Dirk Kuyt.

Got this message from my Dad earlier about how setbacks happen but the beast will return angrier than ever; took it to mean that Liverpool had gotten beat

Haha yeah, when I heard about the DVD of the 4-4 I thought it was a joke, shocked to hear it was real.

EDIT: Should read further up the thread, one feels.
