India should have been in a commanding position by now - good bowling display but the field settings have been rather disappointing. The Aussies should look to survive here and capitalize on a hopefully more favorable track at Nagpur. No shot at victory at all. On another note, Sehwag gives us a solid second spin option to partner Mishra or Chawla in the long run if Bhajji happens to lose form.

Hayden was taking a step back, which is fair enough, but his backlift meant his bat had to carry a long way to block out the little variations in the spin.

I'm not sure how it doesn't? Mishra and Zaheer beat Ponting once every few overs, at least, it didn't mean Ponting didn't look set or looking towards a 100.Which means he didn't look destined for a 100

I think he does, it's just we seem to concentrate on when goes off on his old man tangents rather than when he's talking about the finer aspects of the game.
