***Official Australia in India***

If they declare on 550, they'll have around 25 or so overs at Australia.
oh, 37 overs is a long last session, I didn't see that till just now. Well I guess they should bat till 15 overs or so to go, and have a good pressure spell with the ball tonight.

Good on Watson for his efforts today. At least he's playing with some oomph... something many of his team-mates appear to be without.
I don't think that's really been the case, tbf to the Aussies they have tried everything today, but for the quicks there has been no help whatsoever, the ball hasn't reversed neither has it seamed so really it been tough for them to spend two full days in the field without much happening for them , in Watto's case as i said earlier he has a very upright seam presentation which has been helping him get a tad bit movement off the deck, which is why he has been looked better than the other quicks.

Heh, when even Mark Waugh's taking the piss out of an Aussie it's undeniable how farcical he is.
Mark Waugh is terrible as a expert analyst. Fox Sports should've gotten Greg Blewett in my opinion to do expert comments. Comes across as a much more level headed and unbiased bloke in his commentary.

Yup, now Ganguly goes. India 475 all out.
Your predictions are treasures in this thread. So, now what's your prediction? India all out 516, Australia 1654 for 2 after session two of day 3, and Australia win by innings and 1074 runs after the end of day 3?

You're right about Waugh, but what I meant from that post is when someone as blinkered as Junior is taking the mickey out of Watson's antics then you know how much of a joke(Watson) is.

Did anyone catch Laxman's celebration after he got to 100? Had a nice smile on his face, and made the rolling motion with his arm. No doubt directed towards the critics who wanted him dropped in favour of a fifth bowler :)

Harsh on Hussey and Johnson. Hussey's been gun and Johnson has got quite a few wickets that weren't expected from him.
I meant Australian team as a whole (as a unit)

Considering individual performances, yeah...Hussey has shown his character as a batsman...Johnson was OK, better than expected, not exceptional though (I mean not as good as Zaheer or Ishaant)

Orgasmic strokeplay from VVS here. Incredible.
I hope the ones who opined during IPL that Laxman isn't a natural strokeplayer are watching this match...

Though I don't hope their perception to change if it was formed after watching Laxman bat for so many years in test cricket...

Doubt anyone's ever doubted his strokemaking ability, just he's not explosive enough to be a 20/20 superstar.
