He doesnt endear himself to anyone, Gavaskar. Playing the blunt guy is convenient, but it's got limits. Sometimes gives me a creep.

However, he's got a point, but is at sea to express it.

Watto has been good because of his upright seam presentation, that is something the other quicks in the Aussie line-up can take cue from, most of them deliver the ball with a wobbly seam, and that has somewhat added to their woes.

Anyways seeing the way Katich is bowling i am now sure Beau Casson would have been worth the gamble on this tour after McGain was ruled out, as Julian said during commentary, the prime reason for the selectors to not pick him was that he bowls at a slowish pace through the air, which should really not have been that big a deal.

Why are the commentators talking about a declaration? It's a good time to bat, and it won't be on the 5th day. Bat as long as you can IMO and hopefully only once. No declaration.

They might bat till tomorrow and make 600odd, or they could declare tonight on 550 and get 5 overs at Australia, maybe dismiss Hayden

Good on Watson for his efforts today. At least he's playing with some oomph... something many of his team-mates appear to be without.

I hope the Aussie batsmen can show some spunk in this game, they were really piss poor in Mohali, a good first innings reply can go a long way in helping them salvage a draw in this game.
