Might start to believe in a benign God if that were to come to pass.

What gets me is that Redknapp has bought into the "T*ttenham are a big club" bull****. BBC quotes him as saying "It's a big opportunity to manage a big club before I retire". How are they a big club? Because their fans say so? Proximity to The Arsenal?
Big as in the number of fans, or how big their season ticket prices?

Just saw the Phil Neville tackle on Ronaldo don't know what all the fuss is about it was a strong tackle in which he got the ball first and slightly caught Ronaldo with his trailing leg.

Ronaldo's reaction was embarrasing rolling on the floor holding his mid rift & looking like he was about to burst into tears any second.

Yeah I was watching it live and thought it was a bit rough, but Ronaldo's reaction just made me piss myself.

Haven't seen it, but it's hardly news Ronaldo's a diving mincer, is it?

Thoroughly disagreeable young man altogether, albeit an extremely talented one.

Name us one Portugese footballer who is not soft as wet tissue paper. This is including Brazilians turned Portugese (of which Chelsea and Real Madrid each have on their books).

Wasn't sure how someone could dive whilst already on the floor like he was, but he found a way. I'd almost be tempted to say that it wasn't a yellow either, clearly got the ball and then slid into a player who doesn't deserve anything anyway after rolling about on the floor like an idiot.

It wasn't the fact that Ronaldo was acting like a big girls blouse more the reaction of Fergie 'I don't think the referee protected us enough', & the descriptions of Ferdinand running 50 yards to have a go at Neville, I thought it would have been a bad tackle.

It is generally thought that of the big 4 Arsenal have the soft centre but judging by yesterday's game (and the one at Liverpool) Man Utd don't like the physical side either.

There's no doubt it was a yellow afaic, while Ronaldo made the most of it (which has also been exaggerated, obviously he acted like a **** but it's not as if he's the only player ever to roll on the floor, nor the worst) there was still no need for it given the whistle had gone about ten seconds earlier. Really United should have had the game won by half time, I couldn't watch the second half but sounded far more even.

As far as Redknapp to Spurs goes, the only explanation I can see is that Portsmouth might actually be in trouble financially and about to do a Leeds - there's no other explanation I can find.

Second half, every key Man Utd player had lost the plot. Ferdinand made basic mistakes, Wes Brown made basic mistakes, Rooney lost it, Ronaldo was more concerned about being on the floor as well as being rubbish, Berbatov went missing, Vidic got out-headed for the goal and nearly let Yakubu get in after miscommunication with VdS.

I think we may have drawn Dean Ashton's brother in the cup:unsure:

Leicestershire or Cheshire, doubt I'll make it to either, but I might give it a try. t'magic of t'cup and all that twaddle.

Hinckley beat the Chipnickers at this stage in 2004 when they were a League 1 side, so it's not going to be a walkover in Leicestershire: they're going well in the Conference North.

Curzon Ashton on the other hand are in the Northern Premier 1 North (the eighth level of the pyramid). Should not be an issue... replay is Monday night: come on the Ashes!

Don't really think either side has enhanced their reputation here, has been boring and generally not very good IMO, Liverpool leading mainly due to luck with the goal, though that said Chelsea have looked ****e at the back all game.

Come on Chelsea ffs.

Only positive coming out of this, think we've got more chance of winning the league now than I did before the game, Liverpool still not a league winning side man for man, Chelsea not looking very good as soon as they come up against a non-rubbish side.

How many are you missing though, really? Carrick, Scholes and Hargreaves, but considering Owen's crocked all the time he doesn't really count. Carrick looks nice with all his little one-two's but considering all he'd do wouldbe push Giggs to the bench, and IMO Giggs was your best player in central midfield last night, Scholes is well past his influential best as well.

Chelsea are missing their engine in midfield in Essien, a major part of their creative touch in Ballack and Joe Cole and their most dangerous and powerful forward in Drogba. They do have adequate cover for most of those positions, but if all 4 played today they'd have won IMO. Unless there's someone I'm missing from United, you're looking rather thin on that argument AFAICS.

Do you think we could be on the telly-box, Neil? Potential upset and all that.
We've got Chesterfield away, provided we get past York first. Chesterfield being our biggest rivals, should be an interesting tie.
