Is the plan. Is going to be the easiest game to get to this season travelwise for me, so there's no excuse not to go.

Currently trying to work out just where Forest Green is other than 'The Cotswolds' and if i can get there.

Forest Green is in Nailsworth, about 10-15 minutes drive from Stroud on the side of a hill. There is a back road over the top of another hill through Minchinhampton (I think) that knocks 15 minutes off the journey if you're coming from the A40.

Rushden is another conceivable local game, I'd reckon.

Have to think in terms of stations. Doesn't seem the easiest.
Rushden's Irthlingborough or something, out Northampton way iirc. Doable.
Will be going up to Wrexham as well i think, after last year's fun times.

Pretty sure i'll be successfully dragged to an Exeter game at some point too.

*sigh*. If I wasn't expecting it so much, i'd probably be fairly shattered with that loss. Now I'm just glad I didn't get up to watch it.

Only one Theo Walcott itbt, and he comes from Newbury, all else can GAGF.
Scummer, TBH.

On another note, was offered a ticket today for Pompey vs Chelsea in February by my Dad. Snapped it up. Can't wait, never seen a league game against a Big Four side.

You going to the match against AC Milan?
Trying to. Leaving it in my Dad's hands, he knows people with season tickets so it'll be easier for him. If you want a ticket for Milan you have to buy one for Heerenveen too, but that's not a problem. I'm crossing my fingers, but it'll be a tough ask.

Average age of an AC Milan player: 29
Number of players in squad (inc. Beckham): 28
Number of those players at least 30 years old: 16

You have to say, though, if there's any club in the world that's going to keep a 33 year old player fit for internationals and ensure he has years ahead of him... it's Milan.

I'm curious about where he's going to fit in at Milan, TBH. Their 4-3-2-1 formation doesn't appear to leave too much room for him, without leaving out one of Gattuso, Pirlo or Flamini. Having said that, leaving out Flamini for Beckham isn't exactly that bad a move. Got to admit, even with their advancing ages, the thought of Beckham, Ronaldinho, Kaka and Shevchenko playing in the same team is a pretty mind-blowing one. Rivals Zidane-Figo-Ronaldo-Raul at Madrid, for mine.

Becks doesn't have to play as a winger in Milan. As i've advocated before he should really use his excellent passing game more centrally, then maybe he could rival Carrick or Barry as England's passing machine in the centre of the park.

Since i'm sure even Capello knows at the back of his mind, that come 2010 he can't expect to have Becks at 35 to come on for 5 minutes just to wip in a cross, especially when the likes of Young, SWP & Bentley will be able peaking by then.

Very happy with this move, will finally have reason to watch back a foreign league again.
