I'd never have the balls to make a comment like that with five wickets still to get. I envy youIndia on top. Such a happy feeling as an Indian fan. Sympathies with all the Aussie fans who I am sure are distraught.
If my memory serves me right that game was also played at this same venue...there was a game aganist pakistan rite..where akmal and Razzaq batted whloe day to save the game
these two have now batted almost 30 overs ...we have to get one early in the morning common ishant !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yep, some of the batsmen need to have a look at themselves as, with the exception of one ball to Ponting, it has basically done nothing out thereGenius call from Haddin, keeping the strike off Clarke for the last over.
It's almost certain to be futile, but this partnership has been very ballsy and puts the performance of the other batsmen into perspective. I don't mind Hayden's dismissal, the chances of him mistiming a sweep are generally pretty miniscule so it's hard to put it down to undue risk-taking. Katich, IMO, was the worst dismissal of the day by a distance.
It hit him in line, and it was hitting the stumps. You can talk about doubt all you like, but by the letter of the law, that was an excellent decision. Unlucky for Hayden though, wouldn't normally be given.Yep, some of the batsmen need to have a look at themselves as, with the exception of one ball to Ponting, it has basically done nothing out there
In regards to Hayden, no way in the wide world that should have been given out - if you're not going to give someone the benefit of the doubt when they are 2 metres down the track and facing someone bowling around the wicket then batting averages the world over will plummet massively

Distraught? Never. As Milton said "What though the field be lost?India on top. Such a happy feeling as an Indian fan. Sympathies with all the Aussie fans who I am sure are distraught.
and you are the only one complaining about it ..didnt see any body else having a go at it..havent seen it for myself thoughIn regards to Hayden, no way in the wide world that should have been given out - if you're not going to give someone the benefit of the doubt when they are 2 metres down the track and facing someone bowling around the wicket then batting averages the world over will plummet massively
Well saidDistraught? Never. As Milton said "What though the field be lost?
All is not lost—the unconquerable will . . .
And courage never to submit or yield..."
Good to see us challenged. Disappointing to our good top order let themselves down, and a bit sobering to see how much Clark, and Lee's good form, has been carrying our bowling, but we're still a good team. and there's still a day's play to go.
On the telecast here in the UAE, even the Indian commentators thought it was very roughand you are the only one complaining about it ..didnt see any body else having a go at it..havent seen it for myself though
There is no chance Australia are gonna draw this game now, Clarke and Haddin might fall in the first hour of the game itself, leave alone lasting the whole day.Yaaaa Link
Slightly different scenario.....they did bat around 55 overs but this time around these 2 will have to bat another 60 to have any thoughts of even drawing the game ......
So you don't rate India's series victory in England where they were saved in the 1st test by the rain?I share the same sentiment. Hate any team bailed out due to rain.
