I think it is more of a case of him being rusty and short on match-practice, but he is too good player to be kept quite for too long so i am sure he would bounce back soon.
I think it's a case of him getting to the end, wants to play 100 tests, then will porbably retire after the NZ series.

Think I'll have another bourbon

Well I've been in NZ since Wedneday and haven't kept up with things, but can someone tell me how the **** Peter Siddle played this test match? Move over Joe Angel.

Anyways, WD to Tendulkar on the record - well deserved, great player that he is.
Just saw the last session and the wicket seems very flat - has it been like that all test so far?

Also good to see Dhoni find some form, his batting was not what it can be out here last summer.

Anyway, half in the bag here at the hotel in Auckland, and there's a hair dresser's convention on in the hotel I'm in. So, as much as I really do love cricket, think I'll hit the bar.
Not John Bailey I hope

Out of practice, out of form - all means the same thing really

That one actually looked a tad high to me. Guess I shouldn't complain given he should have been out a couple of balls earlier, but still.

Wow, the bowling cross seam from over 1 really has got it reversing. Australia missed a trick there.

Long gone are the days when India's bowling is all about quality spinners. Love watching Zaheer and Ishant in tandem so, so much.

Just good cricket realising that there was no conventional stuff there and to not bother bowling seam up. Australia didn't have the experience in their bowling to try and do it.
