I wouldn't mind an Edge and Christian heel alliance. They're too big for the Tag division but I reckon they could run an awesome angle with the two competing with/against each other where they can tease a hell of a lot of turns and cut some mad promos and matches before eventually turn them against each other.

Would mark big for this but as of yet have heard nothign about a Christian return. Besides you really think Trips will allow 1 let alone 2 wrestlers to put on such an awesome show/spectacle on the same brand as him. He'd find a way to bury them.

The thing with Trips is that he seems to care about carrying the belt. If an Edge vs Christian feud does come to fruition (even though it's very unlikely at this stage) I doubt it'd be for the belt, rather it'd be more of a grudge feud capitalising on their history as a tag team. I'd buy Wrestlemania in an instant if they can somehow lure Christian back and give him a prominent role on TV.

Still makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck...one of the loudest pops ever....genuine mark out moment, even now.
Same. I remember going crazy when Vince asked for the old stone cold -

I always thought Austin was response for the two biggest pops I've ever heard . That time during invasion and when Mankind first won the heavyweight title against the rock.

Just been watching old invasion videos. So many criticise it, but at the time, it was so damn exciting

To this day my dream Mania would have been Attitude Rock v Sting. Gawd I loved watching that guy perform.

Onto RAW, pretty bad show for mine especially leading into a PPV. Charlie's pop and Santino's awesomeness were the only bright spots. Jericho getting pinned by Kane only for Batista to come in and spear the crap out of him. Ugh, hope this means we're going to be spared a botcherific title reign. If Jericho does drop the strap to him I might give RAW a skip untill someone takes it from him.

AWTA, to have built up Jericho very well over the last 6 months and put him over one of the most over guys ever on several occasions will all be wasted if he drops the title to Gassed Up Freak Dave Batista. I like you would almost certainly give RAW a miss for a long time if that happens. However, rumour has it that Vince is very hot on Jericho at the moment and is a huge fan of how his reign has been going...so hopefully everything will work out ok.

It was all an elaborate scheme!

Vince McMahon secretly owns TNA and both he and Jeff Jarrett have been working the fans for all these years. Mick Foley's announcement will lead to a series of WWE vs TNA style shows and an immediate merging of the two brands.

Seriously though, good pickup that. I think it might have just been a random advert on the WWE.com page. But WWE always seem to list TNA Impact results on their website, so who knows maybe TNA's Marketing group struck a deal and paid WWE to advertise on their site.

So true. However, I thought the WWF wrestlers really carried it with so many in their prime. Undertaker, Austin, Kane, Angle - All at their peak and just to name a couple

TBF though after the way WWE used DDP you can understand why the other big names sat on their Time Warner contracts and wern't part of the invasion

Looks like MVP has been pinned by Funaki on SD this week. Wow, he really really must be in the doghouse for this to be happening. What next? Super Crazy pinning him clean?

Reckon they've wasted a huge huge opportunity for Taker and Triple H going by the result.

Hoping to see Edge and Helms make returns after Cyber Sunday. I really really miss Edge on Smackdown but hopefully Taker finds a way to get rid of Vicke and the Big Show so he can return without having to go back and revisit that storyline.

Hmmm....

HHH vs Undertaker goes ahead on broadcast tv......

that's weird, was sure they would change it somehow.....but ok.....the E have probably missed a trick with this, strange booking. Though I guess the fact that nobody won means it'll happen again down the line sometime.

I am getting that DVD without a doubt. Only disappointment for me is that it was originally gonna be called Edge: A Decade of Awesome.

I would/will be very tempted to get it, but as Edge has got many years left in him I would say the chances of them releasing another DVD a few years down the line are relatively high.
