I think Saleh was just PLUMB LBW (as plumb as you will ever get) to Ryder, but Asoka gave it not out cos he thought he hit it...tbh on first view I wasn't sure, but replays suggest it was out
Seriously what's with all these negative predictions about the defensive batting? As much as I wish Bangladesh to do well, I can't see them being any less than 5 down at stumps, if they bat out till stumps.107/2 by Stumps .. I'm Calling first
To be fair they look like they could get out at any given moment really. Tamim looks better than Rajin though.I retract my earlier statements and predictions. It seems these two will bat for all eternity.
I don't have tv coverage so can anyone tell me what the field placings are like?
Given how defensive the batsman are I'd have an all out attacking field and throwing up as many 'jaffas' as I can at this stage to try and get them to make a mistake hitting out.
Field placings from Vettori were initially a bit defensive for both Patel and himself - much more attacking towards the end of the session.I retract my earlier statements and predictions. It seems these two will bat for all eternity.

Everyone looks threatening, didn't see Ryder though. Everyone's beaten the bat at least once.Cheers, really can't tell much from Cricinfo.
Who looks more threatening? The spinners or the seamers?
Ryder had Saleh plumb lbw in his first over, so even hes created chances - and should've been awarded a wicket.Everyone looks threatening, didn't see Ryder though. Everyone's beaten the bat at least once.
