Player Development Models improved: This is exactly what I've been hoping to hear.
1. Some Wonderkids start off with higher CA, and clubs realize sooner what they have.
2. Variation to training curve for players. I've been asking for this, and didn't expect it. Very good addition!
3. More effect of training schedule on development (was too smoothed out recently).
Feature #2:
FML style "out of position" indicator on tactics screen.
Feature #3: Decimal match ratings. Also like FML
Feature #4: Goals after 90 minutes will display as "90 +3" etc..

Another feature worth noticing that they haven't actually announced yet, is the Trial days. Not sure on how it'll work as they haven't said anything about it yet. Only reason it's known is because the screen shot of it was released when it wasn't supposed to be.

FM 09 News
* Demo Release - Will be through normal channels but also Steam who have a really large bandwith so the download will be quicker.
* FM 09 Blogs - Will start on Wednesday on HMV's website. SI will post info when blogs are posted. New features will also be mentioned in blogs.
FM 09 New Features
* Retired Squad Numbers - You can retire squad numbers after a number of years a players been at the club but the number was not revealed. Also any squad number retired in real life will be retired in the game ie Man City 23 in memory or Marc Viven Foe and West Ham number 6 for Bobby Moore.
* Inactive Team Improved - If you do not select a league any player in that league will now play the full season and the number of games will be correct in thier history instead of playing 10-15 games.
* Player Nationality Improved - Real Life Nationality Laws for different countries cahnged so they are correct with real life. ie A player can qualify for national citzenship after 2 seasons but cannot play for the national team for another 2 years instead of just being 4 years to become a national of the country they play in.
* Referee Watch - Pundits comment during the post game analysis on how refs proformed during the game.
* Pre Game injury history - Players injury history from real life is in the game where possible ie major injuries
* New Sound Effects - Not Revealed but adds effect to match engine
* Ability to reject all loan offers - You can now reject all loans offers from different clubs for one player instead of rejecting them individual.

United CM0102 game died, so started a new one, decided to holiday through twenty seasons and then take over a club that was managerless at the time.
Twenty years didn't change much actually, in most leagues the balance of power was the same, Roma in Italy, United in England and so on, the one exception was Spain, whilst Real Madrid won the league in 2021, Barcelona got relegated.
Anyway, took over Newcastle, who the previous season had finished mid table in Division One, a few signings saw us win the league, although we didn't run away with it.
Found one gem in the summer, and a load of other decent signings, with this I'm confident of a mid-table finish at least in the coming season.

Have got Fiorentina into 2nd spot, 1 point behind Inter with a game in hand. If I can beat Udinese (the game that I am behind in), then it should be plain sailing from there as I have more favourable draw, whereas Inter has potential banner skins against Roma and Milan. I have to win as if goes down to F/A Inter >>>>>>>>>> Fiorentina by a long shot. The funny thing is that, both teams are unbeaten at this stage (Both the Inter and Fiorentina games ended in draws), so if I beat Udinese, I get a two point lead and even if Inter beat Roma and Milan, I can win the Serie A and the top teams will not have dropped a game at all.
In the Coppa Italia Semi's against Roma. Got done in the European Cup by Arsenal. Won the first leg at home 1-0, and then took a 2-0 lead early on, before I choked to lose 4-2 and 4-3 overall. Needless to say I was not happy.
