I think its got something to do with Watson being more able to bowl a stump to stump line and exploit any unevenness in the track, as compared to Johnson.Any reason in particular why Watson bowled before Johnson? Not watching the game today unfortunately
Yes, and also he seems to be getting the most bounce from the pitch for the AussiesI think its got something to do with Watson being more able to bowl a stump to stump line and exploit any unevenness in the track, as compared to Johnson.
Anyways Tendulkar looking at his masterful best atm.
It's a very generous declaration with a run rate of only 2.5 requiredBizarre lunchtime chat from Colville and Geraint Jones back in the studio, mainly seem to be concentrating on the fact that India may win.
Not saying they can't win... I just don't agree with them portraying them as the favourites to do so.It's a very generous declaration with a run rate of only 2.5 required
Basically only requires two batsmen to do little more than hang around

2.5? They need 300 in 83 overs. They need 3.6 runs per over. Currently, they need 3.9. Considering the pitch and the fact that Ponting can shut it down if they get close, India have no chance at winning. This isn't a generous declaration at all. It's a very generous declaration with a run rate of only 2.5 required

Sorry, my maths hasnt been the same since the invention of the calculator299/80 = 3.75
The RRR is close to 4.5 now

If they extend play by 1/2 hr then maybe India have a chance
