Two broken ribs for Westbrook now. Ugh, if the season wasn't over at 2-3 this just confirms it. *Sigh*

Looking grim for the Eagles tbh. Trying to tell my mate their season is already over due to the division they are in but he's ignorante to it.

As for the Packers, Arron Rodgers summed things up well after the game. We haven't played a complete game and we are paying for it.

A wild game last night, Minnesota vs New Orleans. Big win for the Vikes, but jeez, we didnt make it easy for ourselves. Reggie Bush demolished us with those punt returns. Antoine Winfield is a beast though this season.

Couldn't understand why they kept punting to Bush! He sure put on a show.

The problem in Dallas is 'D'. Romo will score enough points, but only if the 'D' in Dallas could stop others from scoring. I mean allowing 22 to Bengals..should be just unacceptable. I would be surprised if Dallas wins a playoff game this year.

Superbowl, No way. Never going to jump on their bandwagon this year. Right now my Redskins are firing from all corners.

pacman jones in trouble again....

this time fighting in a motel. wonder how long it wud take for the league to come up with a decision on his punishment or if the cowboys announce the punishment well before the league comes into the picture

fortunately for jones, no one was injured/arrested/charged./...cud this save him from this incident becoming his last blemish?

Cowboys are (expectedly) downplaying the incident. Since no charges were filled, and hence no arrests, the team says there will be no disciplinary action taken. Let’s see what the commissioner does. It is amazing isn’t it? Some people are simply wired to be destructive by nature. It doesn’t matter how many chances/opportunities they’re given, in the end they just can’t help themselves.

Incidentally, I’m getting an increasingly troubling feeling about the Cowboys. Romo hasn’t looked alright for two weeks, TO has started his drama about not getting enough receptions, the seemingly solid secondary has lost its lead CB (Newman) to injury and potentially Packman to suspension, and the players/coaches are engaged in a cold war with the local media about the criticism they’ve received. Only 3 weeks ago I was getting this nice, tingly feeling inside about a Super Bowl run. Now, not so much.

TBF the commis is a puppet of certain owners. I dont have any faith in the guy. He lost all his credibility during the spy-fate. And I dont know why Pacman Jones gets special attn. from media when 95% of the league is like that.

Oh and Fusion regarding Cowbows' SB dream..You were just being a overly optimistic cowboys fan. :)

McNabb's blog said:
I made a comment after the game [Sunday] that's worth repeating - I'm embarrassed. I'm embarrassed with the way we played the past two weeks. I believe that we lost to teams we should have beaten. Not because I think they are not good - they are. But I still believe we are better; we just didn't show it.

I'm embarrassed with the way I played. I didn't do enough to win the game for my team. I take that to heart. I want the ball in my hand when the game is on the line and, if I have it, I have to make a play. I'll take that responsibility. All three of our losses were within a score so one play could have made a difference - a fumble, an interception, calling an audible, not calling an audible.

I am a proud person and I work hard to prepare to win each and every week. Certainly there have been times where we have been beaten. Take nothing away from other teams who also prepare hard and have a high-skill level. You can't win every week. But losing in the fashion that we have just doesn't sit well with me.

I've made mistakes and I've owned up to them. I'm sure that some of my teammates and coaches might feel that they also could have done better. But a play here and a play there is costing us precious division and conference games that can bite us down the stretch. We didn't start playing well last year until it was too late. It's not too late to turn it around now. But to do so, we have to be embarrassed enough as a team to do something about it.

I'm better than this and I'll prove it. I know my team is too. Now we have to prove it.
Hmm, interesting. Can see this has his way of trying to motivate himself and maybe his team, but words aren't going to heal Westbrook's ribs or Andy Reid's tactical ineptitude. Ah well, he's right that we're better than our record suggests but he's just provided more fuel to the fire that all the McNabb haters are trying to build under him.

Giants or Redskins will get it imo hope its the Giants
Reckon the Skins are in for a fall sometime soon. Love Campbell but he's performing above his level for mine and only a matter of time before his performance peters out.

Cowboys deserved to lose this one.
Should've lost by a lot more actually. Were lucky to take the game to OT. Another week of Romo looking off (but his "off" still translates to 3 TD's), another week of TO being shut out, and another week of the running game being contained. They better blow out the Rams next week or there will be full blown panic in Big D.

Pretty amazing finish to the Chicago-Falcons game as well. It looked to be over when Chicago scored a touchdown with 11 seconds remaining on the clock. The Falcons improbably use that time to have a punt return, and set up a field goal with a quick pass and 1 second left. Atlanta kicker Jason Elam then kicks the game winning field goal. Amazing!
