Cowboys had one of their best weeks in the recent past….and they weren’t even playing! Went from 4th to 3rd place. That’s progress I tell ya.

Eagles can't get it done in the clutch again. Destroying our season, 5-4 now and all 4 losses were gains we could have and should have won. It's just not happening in the clutch and we can't even fall back on the Westbrook excuse as he was the one of the players who couldn't deliver yesterday. That said Eli ran that offense brilliantly, incredible they could hold onto the ball for 40 minutes.

Eli's transformation last year into the Super Bowl winning QB has been amazing. He used to be the permanent dumb-face who could be counted on to make dumb mistakes when it mattered. Now he's just an efficient machine (still has the dumb-face though). Giants the best team in football, no question.

Got to love Herm Edwards. Almost tearing my hair out watching the NFL.com updates on Charger games, knowing that we are going to have a team trying to win on the last drive.

Also, who's going to be MVP. For me the short list is:

Kurt Warner- If he can lead the Cards to a playoff he should be right up there, going to win Comeback player no matter what imo. Currently my MVP atm.

Drew Brees- Throwing almost every play, winning games by himself, making the WR around him good. Needs to win more games though. #2

Philip Rivers- A little bais, but the man is the only reason why the Chargers have won games, leading in TD's, Average Yards per Pass and QB rating. If the Chargers win the AFC West he should win imo. #3 atm.

Albert Haynesworth- Bolter for me, leader of the Titans Defense and if the Titans stay unbeaten, he could shock everybody. Going to most likely win DPOY. #4.

Anyone else you can think of?

Titans have to be genuine contenders. 9-0, strong defence and running game and as we saw last weekend their pass game aint bad either.

Collins had a good game in the air last week, but one swallow, summer etc etc. Still has it all to prove for mine, although I like watching the Titans play.

Skins-Cowboys was an awesome game. Philly missed a huge opportunity today and Dallas made them pay. Fat lady warming up for the Eagle I think.

Also, Titans still going strong. I'm starting to become a believer.

Yeah, the Cowboys saved their season with that win. Had they lost, they would've lost the season series to the Skins and would've been out of the Wild Card race for all practical purposes. Now if they win their next two against weak opponents, they will be 8-4 and in good shape for a playoff run. Welcome back Tony! And I have a man-crush on Marion Barber. That man is a beast.

Incidently, how can Donavan McNabb NOT KNOW that NFL games can end in a tie?!?

Haha yeah I saw that earlier, Dmac isn't the birghtest bulb in the box going by a lot of his interviews I've seen.

Also, saw the Giants-Ravens game and man they were impressive, all week I've been hearing ESPN go on about the Ravens having the best rush D in the league and to see the Giants run 200 on them was a massive statement for mine. Really high on them right now.

Just watched a replay of the Eagles game. The McNabb era well and truly over in Philly now. Shameless gesture by Reid to basically sack him in front of the world, I hope they ditch him in equally ungracious circumstances he's been disgraceful these past two seasons expecting a veteran to run like a 25 year old and then throwing him under the bus to try and save his skin. Oh and his play calling
