Feel really sorry for Brisbane.

Melbourne yet again played their dirty style of game and got away with it until the ref decided to do something about it late in the game. Really hope we see some of their players get 1-2 weeks bans.

Hoping for a Sharks / Warriors GF.

Yeah agreeing with this would be a lovely game to watch with neither of them having won a premiership before

Choke of the year? Yes IMO.

No way in the world. Sims lost the ball in an extremely strong tackle, then the Storm regrouped to get the numbers to beat them on the outside. Cowboys and Canterbury's defeats at the hands of Souths this year were massive chokes.

Was a gripping contest but I don't think either team played particularly well and the better XVII players won, even if they weren't the best on the day.

Extremely disappointing that they scored on Kemp's wing as well. He had a belter. Was just about the best player on the field.

Hodges is such a ****. Stfu and play the ball properly. And limit the dummy-half runs ffs...more times than not you get pulled down by the markers.

Interesting point Andrew Voss made about that Inglis non-try saying that after Geyer knocked the ball back Inglis was no longer within 10 metres of the play. Also that Slater dropped ball early in the game. If they'd used the separation interpretation like they had throughout the season it probably should have been given.

So devo for Tonie Carroll and Wayne Bennett though. Can't remember the Broncos ever losing a close finals game. Quality week at Broncos HQ.

Btw, that Thaiday hit up goes to show that Melbourne are the dirtiest team in the competition by a mile. One vicious grapple and one chicken wing. So unneccessary. Hope Smith gets rubbed out of the GF.

Much love to the Storm, as a Sainters fans any loss for the Broncos is a reason to be celebrated and by all accounts this one was a painful one too. Awesomeness, but C9 are so dire not showing this here(Melbourne), not even on one of their digital/HD channels. Guess I should move back for the next footy season.

According to Brian Waldron Melbourne are the 4th most amount of penalties against them for the grapple tackle. Make of that what you will.

Nah there won't be much complaints from me, they were certainly were pushing their luck.

My heart is broken. Was watching the overlap happen in front of me and there was nothing I could do about it. Sucky game to lose. Melbourne are the dirtiest team going around. Should have got penalised way more than they did.

WOW! I just saw the highlights to last nights game, will watch the full game when I can, but Broncos had that in the bag. Now, with the Broncos out, all I have left is...GO THE SHARKS!

Broncos never had the game in the bag. They always needed to score at least once in the 2nd half. Admittedly all they really needed to do was hit up that last set of 6, and get a kick away, but you always thought Melbourne were in striking distance, unless we could have scored in the 2nd half.

One team had to lose, that is why I normally reserve general criticism when the losing team play their hearts out in knockout matches and it still isn't enough. Either way one franchise was going to be extremely disappointed. BTW was it just me or did Billy Slater look offside in that try he scored?

For mine Cronulla & Manly have always been two of the Warriors bogey teams, this will be the test. Wonder what the prince is paying to run at least one in. Also, if the Sharks win this weekend, how good would they have played?

Good because melbourne are cheats and shouldnt get away with it no matter who you are.

Bad because the best players should be playing in the big games, hope Smith fights, gets it downgraded to 1 week and Storm beat Sharks and then he's free to play the grand final, fair result for everyone and sharks will still be premiershipless.
