ANZ most likely, as Manly will either play at SFS if Storms lose or ANZ if Storm win.
Apologies. Didn't realise that Sydney only had two designated grounds and knew that Manly already had the bye. You must have meant Cronulla where you said Manly.

I misread what you wrote tbh.

But yeah from now on in all Sydney finals will be played at ANZ or SFS. Though I'm not sure how is actually gets allocated between the Sharks and Manly in Week 3. Logically Sharks play at ANZ and Manly at SFS. But I'm not sure if Manly would want to play the Roosters at SFS if they get through.

Simon's talking about the Broncos. Remember he used to be Broncoman.
Ahh yes, that's right :)

Get confused every year with the way this finals series works and who plays who in Week 2. Damn right confusing.

Does anyone have an idiots guide to the system?

Would probably be a good idea. Could make a fair bit of money that way.

Have cricket at Coorpooroo (sp) on Saturday, so should be able to get out to the game. Either that, or hope for rain.

Quite simple IMO. Two highest winners go through, the teams they played go out.

Then with the other four teams, the winners host the losers that they didn't beat in Week 1.

Eg. Brisbane won therefore they get a home final against one of the teams that lost. They played the Roosters the previous week, thus host the Storm.

Yeah, but how was it decided that the Roosters now play the Warriors?

Then the winners in Wk2, play the highest ranked winners from Wk1, the winners of those games, play in the final.

Brisbane v Warriors.

Warriors won therefore get a home final next week against one of the teams that lost. They just played the Storm therefore get to host the Roosters.

BARNES OUT
AWTA. Suncorp to be a sell out I would guess.
Suncorp would sell out if they were playing a group of 12yo blind midgets tbf.

Hmm I'll have a crack.

First week:
1 vs. 8
2 vs. 7
3 vs. 6
4 vs. 5

All of the top 4 get home games. The two lowest losers are completely eliminated, and the two highest winners get a week off. In this case, the Dragons (7th) and the Raiders (6th) are eliminated as the two lowest losers, and the Sea Eagles (2nd) and the Sharks (3rd) get the week off.

Second week:
Highest Winner(Broncos) vs. Highest Loser(Storm) [Game 1]
Lowest Winner(Warriors) vs. Lowest Loser(Roosters) [Game 2]

The two winners get home games whereas the two losers play away from home. This obviously excludes the two highest winners.

Third Week
Highest Winner from Week One vs. Winner of Game 2 from the Week Two
Other Winner from Week One vs. Winner of Game 1 from the Week Two

Both the teams who had the week off now get home games. With the Storm losing today it means they won't play another game in Melbourne this season. As Tharmi has previously mentioned, all games are either at SFS or ANZ if they're Sydney clubs.

Fourth Week
Grand Final @ ANZ

Hopefully that's right (and helps).
