Anderson, MOTM for me in the first-half, been outstanding. Could be an immense season for him.

Aye, he's been pretty good. Have to say the rest of the lot have played very sloppy, though.

Also have to say I've never seen so many Liverpool players go down so easily, particularly through the middle of the pitch to their own goal.

Yeah hell of a player Nani was the overhyped of the two when they where both brought to Utd but it's clear that Anderson is the better prospect.

Well, game of two halves Brian.

Thought Man U were dominant in the first-half, they were unlucky to go in drawing, but the 'pool deserve there lead here, Mascereno has been commanding in midfield since Carrick went off.

Thought Vidic was lucky to stay on, TBH.

<3 you Ryan Babel!!!

It's quite a shame that Kuyt isn't quite as technically blessed as some of his teammates, works so so hard.

Liverpool deserved that. After the first ten or twenty minutes, we were utter crap throughout. Don't know what went wrong - too many options such as "Rooney on wing" or "Carrick sent off" but regardless of any of that, we were crap.

So happy atm :)

Why can't you make them play like that more often Rafa? I thought Reira had a fairly good debut as well, certainly added more width to the attack imo.

Oh God, Craig, don't start that again. :( He was on the right anyway. But geez, haven't we done that to death already?

If Steven Gerrard is over-rated then surely so is Wayne Rooney by this performance today?
Wouldn't he have to be rated one of the best forwards in the game and an annual contender for Player of the Year if he was overrated? Most just rate him as someone with talent who's a very good player ATM.

As for the game. Meh...It's now "this season" for Liverpool I think will be the line. Interestign though that they couldn't do much in the final third unless we offered it to them.

Just going on the general theme around here. As for your second paragraph, congratulations to Liverpool, but I'm not sure on their title creditinals, guess we are going to have judge on their consistentcy and how well they respond to playing the top two teams in the "Big Four" or if you count Citeh's new wealth and if they beat Chelsea, then "Big Five".

Liverpools title credentials will come down to how the player after December imo. They were sitting fine until the 2nd half of last season, and I'd imagine it will come down to how they player in the latter part again this season.

Chavs to have title won by Xmas for me.

ManUre look in desperate need of the Portuguese poseur. Without him they lack finesse.

United were poor, sloppy and looked unfit. They were outclassed in the second half.

But who cares.

1-1 at the galpharm, Edrissa Sonko levelling things up for us

Ugh. We're ****. 0-1 at half-time against Middlesbrough. Hello, mid-table obscurity, we've missed you.
