Earlier this year, caught one the ACN games of BBC where Ghana played Ivory Coast (semi-final or 3rd place game can't remember) believe Ghana won 3-2 or something & Essein was immence in the role as mid-field enforcer that he has hardly played at Chelsea since arriving from Lyon. So i have no doubts..Like to see an example of a Ghana match for which this was true that didn't take place at the world cup please.
I want to read the continuation of that rather fantastic story they have on that board.
Oh you've done it now.
Prepare for a load of babble that has very little to do with your post.
Again that has nothing to do with his passing ability, I have no doubt that he is a "midfield enforcer", and tbh he reguarly performs this role for Chelsea.Earlier this year, caught one the ACN games of BBC where Ghana played Ivory Coast (semi-final or 3rd place game can't remember) believe Ghana won 3-2 or something & Essein was immence in the role as mid-field enforcer that he has hardly played at Chelsea since arriving from Lyon. ....will lead to a Jacuzzi session with Ronnie Moore itbt.I want to read the continuation of that rather fantastic story they have on that board.
I believe that after "will lead to" it says "the magic land of Narnia". Unconfirmed though.I want to read the continuation of that rather fantastic story they have on that board.

Brilliant.First statement: I was talking about Ferdinand's passing, not Carrick's. If you'd even bothered to look at what I quoted, you'd realize that. One would also think the fact that I had said "defender" would make it clear, but it seems Carrick's so awesome he can also play defence now.
Second statement: I've realized that sarcasm isn't very handy over the internet. I was poking fun at the fact that Butt was on the stats list way more Carrick, and drew a conclusion that everyone over at our friendly CC section would make.
Comprende?
Did you watch the game?. Of course not. He was without Appiah who was injured, the man who does most of the tackling, thus Muntari was drafted into the centre, so he basically had to cover two roles & his passing game was remained excellent. Can't see why this is debate.Again that has nothing to do with his passing ability,.
Not alot compared to his time & Lyon or when he plays for Ghana given Makelele's presence. Another victim of versatility.I have no doubt that he is a "midfield enforcer", and tbh he reguarly performs this role for Chelsea.
Me seeing the game does not change anything, my original comment solely regarded his passing ability, which again you seemed to have passed over and made a fleeting remark with no evidence etc.. to back it up.Did you watch the game?. I think the fact that he is generally acknowledged as being one of Chelsea's most solid performers over the last three years suggests the fact that he is hardly a victim of versatility. Just because he has played centre back and right back on a few occasions shows that he is versatile certainly, but he is hardly a victim of it.Not alot compared to his time & Lyon or when he plays for Ghana given Makelele's presence. Well its seems as if you don't see much of Chelsea, because suggesting Essein aint got a passing game is nonsense.Me seeing the game does not change anything, my original comment solely regarded his passing ability, which again you seemed to have passed over and made a fleeting remark with no evidence etc.. to back it up.
Victim in the sense that he is willing to play anywhere the coach puts him & has proven he can do a very commendable job, although sacrificing his best position for the majority of his Chelsea career.I think the fact that he is generally acknowledged as being one of Chelsea's most solid performers over the last three years suggests the fact that he is hardly a victim of versatility. It is however your fault that you didn't watch the game too hard to realise he's called Essien.Well its seems as if you don't see much of Chelsea, because suggesting Essein aint got a passing game is nonsense.
You asked for a game other than the WC which proves he has a passing game, i have directed you to the African Cup of Nations semi or 3rd place match where he did it, its not my fault if you don't have a TV, thus missing the chance to see Essein displaying his passing ability..
Gee, he really did take one for the team there, dunno how I would cope if I had to play in a different position, demand another £20k to go on top of my £60k salary probably.Well its seems as if you don't see much of Chelsea, because suggesting Essein aint got a passing game is nonsense.

TBH I used to play Sunday League, well one day I was driving along and my agent rang me.
"The Brom want you to play left-centre mid on Sunday." I had made it clear that I wanted to play right centre-mid. How could they do this? The anger rose up inside of me, I got so angry that I swerved my car and only just missed Gill the dinnerlady.
"Bastards!" I shouted.
The characters in this story are fictional. Any similarities to real persons is completely coincidental.
There won't be once my autobiography, "My Brown Fence" comes out
If you think so then fine.I take from that, that you are one of these "muppets" on the United forums.
