Norwood's on Fire
Needs to get back in the Tranmere side firstWas waiting for you to post "Chris Greenacre", TBH.
Plus I'd play 4-4-2, see Curran as better at the support role, Greenacre would lead the line

Rooney's been utter dross for England for at least 3 years now. Has to be Heskey and Owen up front because that combination actually scores goals.LOL @ this, frankly. Dropping Rooney from the side would be insanity. Capello's already stated an intention to build the team around him. You'd replace him with whom, Heskey? Crouch? Ashton? Owen?
Had a good game for the U-21s the other day. Knock it anywhere upfield and he'll get there first.Play Agbonlahor imo, get a bit of fresh blood in there.
Had a good old lol at that. He's not worth how much Man Utd paid fo rhim but is he pretty good? Yes. Best passer of the ball in England I think.
Might actually work this out later, nothing better to do itbt.Would be interesting to see how often Rooney and Owen have even played together and their record when they do.
Don't watch us play very often then...Carrick's not good enough for Man Utd.
Word out, shocking Carrick bashing. If you didn't rate him highly before United signed him (i for one didn't), you just got to now. One of the best examples of this was in the CL semi-final vs Barcelona @ OT that i was at & he along with Scholes really controlled the mid-field ahead of Xavi, Toure & Iniesta. Since then i was convinced he has moved on from the square passer that he was at Tottenham to United (and hopefully one day England's) version of Pirlo.Don't watch us play very often then...
Whether or not you would pick Carrick for England (I would personally, though I recognise it's not a closed issue), no sane person could have watched the last couple of years and come to the conclusion that United don't need him.
Well for English players in the prem its either him or Scholes ATM.Had a good old lol at that.

Only went back to the start of 2002. Heskey's main time would've been slightly before that.Wow, find it hard to believe Owen-Heskey started only 13 games. Shows how crocked Owen was at the time, really.
Just Setanta, which is handy because i have Setanta and not Sky.For those who have Sky, any signs that the Croatia game will be on Sky or is it just on setanta?
Damn yo, this is madness now because not even ITV & BBC 1 are showing it live.Just Setanta, which is handy because i have Setanta and not Sky.
Exactly why I chose those words. TBH, I noticed him more when he played for Spurs but he played a different role then. as Towns said he just brings an extra dimension to the attack. Not the best in defence around but he can hold his own and Hargreaves is there to pick up the slack. Also, with the passing ability and vision he has he'd be awesome to pick out the runs of Cole and Rooney and might link up well with Gerrard playing him some nice through balls."Not seeming to be doing much" is not usually an indicator of immense footballing talent. Carrick's not good enough for Man Utd. If he was a man of his word then he would have joined Pompey instead of Spurs, and where would he be now if that had happened? He wouldn't be an £18million Man Utd midfielder, I guarantee you. You lot don't need him.
