Good work from the Roosters to keep a form side scoreless, in pouring rain. It's great to see Mini back, it would be awesome if he could finish his career injury free. Mason has been a big blow, especially one week out from the finals and a week before a big match, against the Broncos.

It wasn't, but either way, thanks to the thrashing Melbourne gave them, Brumby is the 2008 NRL Tipping Champion

Well in some ways I'm glad we came 2nd. We didn't deserve first spot. Cus if it wasn't for Origin, Melbourne would have got it by about 4 points. I rather play Dragons then Warriors also. Could see us losing to the Warriors, could see us losing to Dragons as well. But reckon we have more chance of beating them.
Reckon it will be Raiders or Sharks playing Storm in the GF this season. Unless one of the other sides pull their finger out during the next month.

Roosters v Brisbane on Friday, and 4th v 5th games generally, are just so pointless. Whatever happens it's about 95% certain that both teams will have to play sudden death the weekend after. The McIntyre system needs to be replaced by the current AFL finals system.

tbh you only won the tipping comp by cirumstances, changing your tip to Tigers because you needed it to win doesn't suggest you thought they'd win. Fair play that you tipped more winners throughout the season though.
